Support Disabled Young Girls Leadership
Educate Her, Empower Rwanda Fundraising Campaign!
WHY IT MATTERS
Yet, the journey to full inclusion continues, Rwanda’s 2022 census reveals 391,775 people with disabilities (216,826 females), representing 3.4% of the population aged 5 and above. Alarmingly, only 64.2% of children with disabilities aged 5-17 attend school, compared to 80.6% without disabilities. Too many girls with disabilities drop out due to a lack of resources, assistive devices, and inclusive support.
OUR GOAL
Raise funds to help 600 girls with disabilities return to school with equal access to quality, inclusive education. Your generosity will provide essential school materials, assistive devices, learning aids, and more, ensuring no girl is left behind.
